Shooting Star

A night of banter,

Around the bonfire;

 

Together we enjoy,

Staring at the night sky;

 

A streak of fire in the sky,

Passes in the blink of an eye;

 

A visitor from outer space,

Enters our world to amaze;

 

Although he shall perish,

Selflessly, he grants each a wish!
